This website is created for the purpose of helping to bring some insight to the world of DFW acoustic music news, venues and other information. The north Texas area is void of any forum of this kind of which I am aware. I'm hoping to see if we can attract feedback as we'll post it if it's worthy of our intention. Please help if you desire. A forum representing folk, indie, bluegrass and acoustic music of any variety is worth quite a bit to those of us to have that passion. Pick on!
If you read the DFW blog, you already know I don't post here for fluff. My entries usually have information that is of value.
AKUS toured for only two weeks this fall and they were no where near Texas. They were in California, Arizona and Nevada. Hey, I had to have something to add to this photo. Great isn't it? Maybe a spring '07 tour puts them in Dallas. I'll keep an update.
