AKUS toured for only two weeks this fall and they were no where near Texas. They were in California, Arizona and Nevada. Hey, I had to have something to add to this photo. Great isn't it? Maybe a spring '07 tour puts them in Dallas. I'll keep an update.

John Gorka Returns

I got interested in John back in 1990 when I first heard heard the song "The Sentinel." His baritone voice had a cadence I had not heard before, and his acoustic guitar reminded me of some of the things that JT does with his Olsen. He's got out a new cd entitled "Writing in the Margins." It's a collection of folk, country, and pop that explore love, war and hope for the future. It's his first endeavor in over 3 years. John brings his magic to Uncle Calvins Coffee House in Dallas the night of December 1st. Get your tickets on line just as I did because they are bound go fast.
